Our company has remained at the forefront of the boating community and marine industry since 1947 because of our devotion to quality work and passion for the boating lifestyle. Evolving from the original boatyard located in Stuart, Florida, Whiticar Boat Works has grown to five divisions, all of which are owned and operated by the same family you have come to know and trust for more than 60 years. When Curt Whiticar built his first boat in 1925, he didn’t know that he was crafting more than just a recreational fishing boat. He was creating the foundation of Whiticar Boat Works.
Whiticar Boat Works was founded by family, and is run today by that same family. But for us, the word family extends beyond sharing the same last name or bloodline – it extends to our employees as well as to our customers. Once you are a Whiticar customer, you and your boat become part of our family. In the same way that no two days at sea are exactly the same, no two boats will require the exact same service.
